NON DUES REVENUE PARTNERSHIP

BETWEEN

PARENTAL ALIENATION EDUCATION

AND

_____________________________

What are the benefits being offered to the members of our association ?

THE FIRST BENEFIT – CONTINUING EDUCATION.

We provide three ( 3 ) continuing educational conferences in navigating through high conflict divorce,  child custody disputes, parent child relational problems, and prevention of child abuse.

These problems impact more than just the parents and their children. They also effect extended family members, friends, mental health professionals, family law lawyers, mediators, arbitrators, pediatricians, guidance counselors,  law enforce- ment professionals, accountants, business valuators, other professionals, and employers because they experience a substantial financial loss when these problems spill over into the workplace.

These continuing educational benefits- can only be obtained online from Parental Alienation Education.

THE SECOND BENEFIT – FREE CONSULTATIONS

Members that become better informed and educated will now need immediate assistance in how to manage their individual problems and they will also need referrals to mental health professionals, family law lawyers, mediators and consultants.

Offering guidance, and finding professionals with this required expertise is a time consuming process that involves talking to a consultant and filling out detailed intake form documentation. The initial phase of a consultation  takes a minimum of 2 hours and referrals to mental health professionals, lawyers and other professionals can take substantially longer due to a wide number of factors, including availability of these professionals.

What is the value of the benefits being offered to the members  ?

THE VALUE OF BENEFITS OFFERED TO MEMBERS

CONTINUING EDUCATION BENEFITS

The value of the three ( 3 ) continuing educational conferences : $349.00

CONSULTATION BENEFITS

A two hour consultation to review the intake documentation, and to speak to a consultant would cost a non-member $300.00 /hour. Therefore, this consultation benefit has a value of : $600.

The good news is that we are offering all of these benefits to your members Free of Charge.

The total value of the benefits offered to each member adds up to: $949.

What would be the Non Dues Revenue to the Association ?

THE NON DUES REVENUE ( NDR ) TO THE ASSOCIATION

We have calculated a maximum NDR of $10,000 per 1,000 members.

5,000     members =  $    50,000
10,000   members =  $    100,000
20,000   members =  $    200,000
100,000 members     $ 1,000,000

What is the Non Dues Revenue projected for year two ?

THE NON DUES REVENUE PROJECTED FOR YEAR TWO

We already have new continuing education programs and films in development, and these new benefits will be available in year two. It’s estimated that the NDR to the association will equal or exceed the revenue in year one. Details about the CE programs, and films are now being announced on the PAE website.

Is the partnership in alliance with the mission of the association ?

MISSION ALLIANCE IS ATTUNED TO YOUR ASSOCIATION

We know that your association wants to provide its members with a value worth many times the cost of any fee to join. We understand you need to calibrate benefits to their bucket list. We also know, it’s important for you to help your members reach their fullest potential.

Is this a partnership in alignment with your culture and mission ?

We think so. Consider this :

Parental Alienation Education ( PAE ) is a pro active support system for your members, and their extended family. Do you need to ask them if they care about their children or   what it would mean to be able to get help with high conflict divorce and separation ?

Do you think you really need to ask them whether or not they would like help with their parent-child relational problems, or if they would like to know what they can do to protect their children from abuse ? We already know the answer without even having to ask.

Setting aside the fact that these benefits provide substantial savings on the cost of continuing education they also provide cost reduction benefits, because members will eliminate or reduce a substantial amount of fees for psychological and legal services. This savings, also leads to wealth retention for your members.

Are these benefits what members want and need ?

GIVE YOUR MEMBERS WHAT NOBODY ELSE CAN

Parental alienation is the unjustified rejection of a parent, caused by the negative influence of the other parent  Even most people who have never had it happen to them, understand and relate to the concept because they know a friend or a relative it did happen to. Many times a parent receiving this education will say something like :

“ I didn’t even know that there was a term for this problem. I’ve been struggling with it for so long. Thank you for helping. “

We know that most associations believe that a successful NDR partnership depends on surveys of what their members want and need, but there are exceptions to every rule. Most of your members have no way of learning about alienation or that it can happen to intact families or to families that go through divorce and separation. Bringing awareness and understanding of these dynamics to your members will help them to truly appreciate that these benefits are exactly what they want and need.

It is also hard for anyone to admit that they have a child that might hate them for unjustified reasons. This inhibiting factor may not show up as a response on a survey, so it’s important that your members have some privacy in accessing these benefits.

Why does the association need to be concerned about continuing education regarding custody battles, divorce issues, child abuse or parent child relational problems ?

DIVORCE ISSUES IMPACT YOUR ASSOCIATION MEMBERS

Associations need to look after the welfare of their members in the same way that companies look after employees, and there is a great deal of concern being focussed on these issues by employers. In an article titled : Employers Protect Yourself from Custody Battles That Hold Your Company Hostage, published by Charlotte Hardwick, February 6, 2014, she wrote:

“ Child custody? How’d that get to be an employer’s concern.  When an employee faces child custody litigation, it will effect their ability to do their job.“

Imagine how much better off your members would be if your association could help them to work at their fullest capacity.

One way to retain members  is by finding  creative benefits that actually go beyond saving them dollars and cents, and doesn’t that make sense to you ?

Charlotte Hardwick goes on to say:

“  Unlike other kinds of employee stress, a custody dispute could keep creating turmoil until the employee’s youngest child turns 18. No workplace is immune. “

Imagine how these educational benefits could transform a persons life. We see it happen every day.

Research validates examples of poor work performance caused by these dynamics: They include:

* Absence for appointments with attorney, evaluations, court dates
* Stress making them more distracted, and even ill ( more sick leave )
* Unavailable for travel or extended hours
* Co-workers having to pick up the slack, so they feel put upon
* Involving other employees in the developments, which side tracks them
* Depression, anger and other emotional spill over on the job

In another social science article, the discussion turned to what employers can do to help their business, and to help their employees. Your association has a similar interest in helping members  so it would help you to hear this advise:

“ Experts agree that it is essential that employers connect the dots between the serious emotional and financial stress of divorce and lost productivity. It is clear, they say, that the need to educate and support employees during distressful times should not be considered a luxury, but should be regarded as a high-priority necessity. As the Grier Recovery Institute says, “ When your heart is broken, your head doesn’t work. “

Here is another excerpt from the article :

The Harvard Business Review has been quoted as estimating that presenteeism costs American business $150 billion annually in direct and indirect costs. “

Presenteeism is a condition when employees are physically present, but emotionally, mentally, creatively and professionally not there. Impact of Divorce on the Workplace, May 4, 2011, by JoAnne Donner.

Large companies are more likely to invest in continuing education because reducing problems in the workplace (  caused by divorce, custody disputes and parent-child relational problems ) is worth it. Small companies on the other hand would never make this kind of investment.

Do the members of your association work in a small business ?

If you answered  ‘yes’  then your association is the only hope they have of getting these benefits. Isn’t that a key consideration in the selection of a partner?

Would an outside continuing education vendor, create a conflict for workshops and conference events now being offered to members ?

AN ONLINE EDUCATION VENDOR IS THE RIGHT CHOICE

PAE offers online continuing education protected by advanced and costly encrypted technology and that protects the intellectual rights of this material and makes it more valuable because it is difficult for unauthorized users to gain access. Your association is making the right choice in selecting us as an NDR partner and in a research article in the OJDLA they report :

“ Many institutions have however, selected a third option: electing to leverage a corporate online education vendor partner to assist with the launch of new online education programs.” ( Baines & Chiarelott, 2010; Hillman & Corkery, 2010; Quigley & Pereing ( 2011 ); Russell & AASCU ( 2010 ).

Also your association is not likely to invest in continuing education that requires advanced technology and infrastructure, and  that is a fact supported by research:

“ Advanced technology systems and infrastructure are often prerequisites for online education programming and may require substantial institutional investment. “ ( Lei & Gouva, 2010 ) Online Education Vendor Partners: When And How To Select One, published in the Fall 2012, Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration

PAE has developed the technology and infrastructure that makes these benefits so hard to access and so valuable to all of the members of your association.

Would an online continuing education program on this subject have more value than organizing face to face workshops ?

ONLINE CONTINUING EDUCATION IS THE RIGHT DECISION

PAE-conferences contain several days of presentations and workshop sessions and very few professionals have the expertise to lecture on the subject of alienation and high conflict divorce.

All of the leading experts in this field have made presentations in our program. The cost of hosting a workshop on alienation would also be very expensive  Why reinvent the wheel ? There is also research, that  online  continuing  education is more beneficial than face-to-face instruction.

In, Re-Examining & Repositioning Higher Education :

Twenty Economic and Demographic Factors Driving Online and Blended Program Enrollments, Journal of Asynchronus Learning Networks, Vol 13: Issue 4

“ Online learning is much more conducive to the expansion of learning than face-to-face interaction. “

Putting this research into focus:

“ In 2009, the United States Department of Education published a report entitled Evaluation of Evidence Based Practices in Online Learning: A Meta-Analysis and Review of Online Learning Studies. This report included a meta-analysis and a systemic search for empirical studies of the effectiveness of online learning. According to the report, the overall finding of the meta-analysis is that classes with online learning on average produce stronger student learning outcomes than do classes with solely face-to-face interaction. “:

Cultivating new members for your association also depends on attracting Generation X’ers ( 1965-1983 ) and Generation Y/Millenials ( 1984-2002 ). They were born into the internet age and follow this research, they shop as much for convenience as they do for value. Most prefer online education.

Are there any CEU’s being offered to members, through these online continuing educational conferences ?

CEU’s ARE AVAILABLE TO YOUR MEMBERS

We offer 18 CEU’s for your members, if CEU’s are what they need. It is also important to keep in mind that many members are simply interested in continuing education and not necessarily CEU’s. section of the PAE website is dedicated to CEU information, and it includes a list of all the Associations and Boards that accept these CEU’s, including the American Psychological Association.

Are there NDR benefits relating to advertising and sponsorships ?

ADVERTISER AND SPONSORSHIP NDR

The right demographic to attract advertisers and sponsorships is often times an affluent population of professionals. We have the capacity to refer a large population of affluent professionals through the PAE Listserv.

We have one of the largest listserv populations of lawyers, mental health professionals, mediators, MD’s, financial professionals and other types of professionals from all over the world, and we want to emphasize that our website is also multilingual.

As partners we would use this Listserv to help promote advertisers and sponsorships to your association.

PAE supports your mission and the culture of your association, so whatever we can do to lend a helping hand to find you some new advertisers and sponsors, volunteer staff resources, use our social media communities to make announcements, count us in.

Are there any news or press releases about PAE ?

Where have PAE continuing education conferences been hosted ?

LOCATION SITES FOR PAE CONFERENCES

PAE conferences have been held at The Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, NYC, The University of Toronto, Ontario, Dawson College, Quebec, and The Metro Toronto Convention Center, Toronto, Ontario.

PAE has also expanded into State Mandated Divorce Education Programs and these programs have been adopted by the US Courts in over 500 counties across the United States.

How do we help members understand the very unique benefits PAE is offering ?

ONE EASY STEP TO EXPLAIN BENEFITS TO YOUR MEMBERS

We know it can be difficult to explain the way these benefits can impact a persons life, and we know it has to be done in a very simple way.

We decided that the best way to do this … is to give all of your members a Free 30 Day Pass to access the benefits.

We know that after 30 days the members will want to keep the benefits and here are a few of the reasons why: ( i ) The online education conferences will always be available to help refresh what they learned ( ii ) even if this does not impact them directly, it might impact a married brother or sister, a new spouse or significant other, a fiance, a friend of the family ( iii ) or children in a blended family, ( iv ) a lawyer, a mental health professional, a child abuse investigator, a mediator, a CDFA, accountant, business valuator, law enforcement officer, pediatrician, psychiatrist, ( v ) if they are soon to be a parent, ( vi ) if they they have a substance abuse problem, ( vii ) if they attend a support group, ( viii ) if they are not getting help from an EAP,( ix ) if they are draining their financial resources because of the litigation  ( x ) if they need referrals to a lawyer, mental health professional, custody evaluator, mediator or consultant.

What kind of cost and resources would the association need to dedicate to integrate these benefits ?

ASSOCIATION COSTS AND ENGAGEMENT

Every NDR partnership involves some degree of time to get the word out. We not only need your help in distributing the engagement marketing material, we encourage you to explain why it is important for members to take advantage of the Free 30 Day access. Your engagement marketing also presents an opportunity to help your members learn just how much you care about them. What you say to your members is entirely up to you, but PAE will put together all of the marketing materials for you give your members.

Due to the fact that we provide our benefits online, it will be necessary for the association to use its Listserv to deliver the PAE marketing materials. It may also be necessary for the association to consider alternative ways for this engagement marketing to maximize interest in the program. We would leave this matter entirely up to you.

After the initial engagement marketing, PAE will require an email address corresponding to the name of each member receiving the Free 30 Day Pass. The association will determine how best to provide this information to PAE.

Soon after PAE receives this email information the members will be sent a Free 30 Day Pass to use the benefits. When this 30 day access expires, member will receive an automated email allowing them the option to keep their benefits.

After the benefits have been delivered to your members, they will have the permanent ownership of these benefits. There are no association resources needed to integrate the final stages.

PAE would like the association to agree to do engagement marketing of the benefits on a bi-annual basis.

These few steps basically summarize the involvement of the association in bringing PAE benefits to the membership. We believe that the overall amount of time and costs will be minimal.

Do you have an NDR contract we can review ?

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

We have a Memorandum of Understanding that outlines all of the details about this non-dues revenue partnership, and we tried to kept it simple and flexible. Although we tried to anticipate most of your questions we know there might be a few questions that we did not get to answer. Lets talk soon and thank you for giving this non dues revenue partnership your thoughtful consideration.
