Biography:

Dr. Kathleen Reay has nearly 25 years experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, psychotherapy, parent education, consulting, program development, and guest speaking. In private practice she has gained extensive experience with a wide variety of personal and relationship problems which are reflected in the scope of services offered. Dr. Reay is an internationally recognized expert in high-conflict divorce, parental alienation, parent-child estrangement, and child emotional abuse and related trauma. She is available as an expert witness.
In 2007, Dr. Reay’s published doctoral dissertation was on the long-term effects of Parental Alienation Syndrome. She is currently conducting two other research studies on the topic. Dr. Reay was an invited keynote speaker at the 2011 Canadian Symposium for Parental Alienation Syndrome in Montreal, Quebec. Dr. Reay was also an invited keynote speaker at the People for People Conference in Edmonton, Alberta in 2012 plus an invited keynote speaker at the Canadian Domestic Violence-3 Conference in Toronto, Ontario in February 2013. She is also the Founder and Director of the International Institute for Parental Alienation Studies (IIPAS), an exceptional research institute and online learning program for alienated parents, extended family members, and professionals. Her book called Toxic Divorce: A Workbook for Alienated Parents won 2 International Book Awards in 2012 – 1st Place Winner in the Parenting/Family: Divorce category and Award-Winning Finalist in the Self-Help: Relationships category.
